Excise and Taxation Department Vehari has recovered taxes to the tune of Rs 72.124 million in first six months of the current fiscal year. District Excise Officer Muhammad Aslam Khera told newsmen that this fiscal year's target for Vehari Excise department had been fixed at Rs 154.6 million, while a sum of Rs 72.124 million was recovered till December 31, 2006.
