A one-day workshop to raise awareness in women about their legal rights were organised by Mufad-e-Niswan Trust in co-ordination with Pakistan Women Lawyers Association in Shah Faisal Town on Sunday.
PAWLA Project Co-ordinator Abida Mahmood and Law Officer Sultana Perveen informed area women especially teachers about legal matters pertaining to their rights. These matters include rights of women after being divorced, prohibition of unnecessary second marriage, rights regarding domestic violence, other women's rights.
