Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Tariq Azeem Khan has said that the proposed media university to be set up in Islamabad would be operational by September this year. Talking to a seven member media delegation from Nepal here on Thursday.
He said that the university would supply highly trained and skilled manpower to the media industry of not only Pakistan but also to the other countries in the region.
The minister hoped that the visit of the delegation would help strengthen ties between the two countries. He said that media is the most effective means of exchange of information and there should be frequent visits of media persons between Pakistan and Nepal.
