BRIndex30 gains 38.28 points

On Tuesday, the BRIndex30 opened in the green zone at 11,891.46 with an upward jump gap of 220.69 points, and closed at 11,709.05 with a net positive change of 38.28 points and percentage change of 0.33.
It experienced the intra-day high of 11,917.05 and low of 11,645.67 with the volume of 100,920,000 shares, which was 74.63 percent of market total and 87.80 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 135,216,640 and 114,954,840 shares, respectively.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 4,702.63 with a positive change of 79.93 and percentage change of 1.73. The turnover for this sector was 43,765,900 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index was the second most active sector with a turnover of 22,803,700. It closed at 2,008.34 with a net negative change of -8.29 and percentage change of -0.41.
BR Cement Index was the third most active sector. It closed at 1,311.26 with a net positive change of 9.08 and percentage change of 0.70. The turnover for this sector was 19,166,900.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,254.54 with an upward change of 1.75 and percentage change of 0.14. The turnover for this sector was 11,445,000. BR Tech. & Comm. Index closed at 1,489.97 with a net downward change of -13.2 and percentage change of -0.88. The volume of this sector was 8,443,100, which was lowest among BR Indices.
