PBC to hold investors' moot in UAE

Pakistan Business Council (PBC) of UAE will hold investors' moot in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to identify investment and privatisation opportunities in Pakistan for UAE investors. Dr Syed Qaiser Anis, President of UAE Pakistan Business Council (PBC) leading a delegation informed Zahid Hamid Federal Minister for Privatisation and Investment in a meeting here today.
Zahid Hamid lauded the efforts of PBC for promoting and projecting business opportunities in Pakistan to UAE investors. He said that the concerned officials wold be asked to associate PBC during the company road shows in UAE for the Global Depository Receipt (GDR) of United Bank Limited, Kot Addu Power Company and Habib Bank Limited on appropriate time accordingly.
The Minister also briefed the visiting delegation about the upcoming investment and privatisation opportunities. The Minister stated that as a result of the economic reforms Pakistan's economic turn around was being well appreciated by foreign and local investors.
Pakistan offered liberal and level playing field to all investors with all sectors of economy open for investment without any permission or restrictions, he added. Dr Syed Qaiser Anis, President of UAE Pakistan Business Council (PBC) lauded the efforts of President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and their team for promoting the image of Pakistan.
He also informed the Minister regarding PBC's role in developing trade, commerce and investment activities between the business group of UAE and Pakistan. President General Pervez Musharraf inaugurated the Council on June 6, 2005 in Abu Dhabi, attended by more than 600 delegates.
