National Logistics Corporation (NLC) Freight Services has made a mark with an impressive display of its freight services product lines and its capabilities in this sector at Transport Asia 2007 which is an annual transport, technology & systems exhibition and conference being under way at Karachi Expo Centre, said Commander Freight Services, Brigadier Ashfaq Ur Rehman Pirzada in a statement issued here on Friday.
He said NLC has always been the pioneer in bringing in new and innovative ideas, when it comes to the trucking fleet, its infrastructure on the major road highways and its efficient and reliable logistics management.
This strategic business unit has pioneered the infrastructure and art of road logistics, and brought in the concept of freight containerisation in Pakistan. NLC is equipped with more than 1,500 state of the art trucks in its fleet, a wide network of staging sections across all major road highways, warehousing, and is introducing innovative fleet management and tracking systems to ensure reliability and swiftness in transportation.
Director Marketing & Business Development, Faisal Paracha said there are numerous logistic business options and capabilities of the NLC, which are not tapped by the business sectors in our growing market dynamics within Pakistan.
