The Communication and Works Department is set to initiate Muslim Town Underpass Project with a cost of Rs 350 million by the end of this month. It would be the 8th such project to be completed by the government in Lahore.
This was stated in a meeting held with Punjab Minister for Communication and Works, Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din Khan in the chair, at his office here on Friday. Secretary C&W Muhammad Ahsan, Additional Secretary (Technical) Masood-ur-Rasool, Chief Engineer Highways, Muhammad Iqbal Khokhar, Superintending Engineer, Munawar Bashir and XEN, Muhammad Shahid also attended the meeting. Tendering process of this project has been completed and contract has been allotted to a construction company, selected for the execution of the project.
