Wet spell to continue

The present wet spell in most parts of Punjab, NWFP and Kashmir is likely to continue for another 48 hours. According to office here on Sunday, moderate to heavy downpour is also expected at isolated places while current rains in most parts of the Sindh and Balochistan are expected to subside by Monday.
Moderate to heavy snowfall has been forecast over mountainous areas of Kashmir including earthquake-affected areas, Murree, Galiat, Malakand and Hazara Division during the period.
The current rains and snowfall may cause further landslides in earthquake affected areas.
THE RAINFALL RECORDED IN VARIOUS CITIES DURING LAST 24 HOURS WAS: Khuzdar 32 mm, Kalat 26 mm, DI Khan 26 mm, Malamjaba 26 mm, Jacobabad 25 mm, Sibi 23 mm, Bahawalpur 22 mm, Mianwali 20 mm, Dir 20 mm, Balakot 18 mm, Nawabshah 15 mm, Quetta 15 mm, Larkana 12 mm, Karachi 10 mm, Muzaffarabad 9 mm, Lahore 3 mm, Rawalpindi 2 mm, and Islamabad 5 mm.
