Two persons were injured when fire broke out in the basement of a four-storey building of Feroze Sons Printing Press here at Empress road on Thursday. Printing material worth thousands of rupees also reduced to ashes, fire brigade officials said.
Six fire units of fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after one-hour hectic efforts. However, two employees namely Wasim Ahmad and Iqbal Ahmad received burn wounds in the incident. They were rushed to the hospital. The cause behind the fire was stated to be short-circuiting.
