Railway traffic restored

A goods train derailed between Mian Channu and Mohsinwal on Thursday morning caused suspension of rail traffic for three hours at the main line between Lahore and Multan. However, railway staff removed the train and restored traffic later after hectic efforts.
A bogey of the goods train, carrying luggage for railway line construction derailed between Mian Channu and Mohsinwal railway stations at 10:00 am today, railway officials said. The derailment caused suspension of train traffic between Lahore and Multan. Trains from Sindh and Balochistan via Multan to Lahore and from Lahore to Karachi and Quetta via Multan were stopped at various railway stations.
