Telemedicine facility in all districts soon, says Ibad

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said that facility of telemedicine will soon be provided in all districts of Sindh. Six districts have been fully equipped with this facility and remaining will also be linked soon for which work is fast going on.
Presiding over a meeting at Governor House here on Saturday, Dr Ishratul Ibad said that with provision of this facility, the people of far off areas of Sindh would be able to seek opinion of specialist doctors at their nearest medical centres instead of travelling to cities for this purpose.
He pointed out that this facility could play a major role in providing modern health facilities to people of rural areas. The meeting was attended by Senior Health Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed, Dr Rasheed Jumma, Additional Secretary Health Manzoor Memon, Principal Secretary Saleem Khan, Special Secretary Javed Hanif and senior officials of health department.
