Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 66,028 tonnes cargo including 50,582 tonnes import, 15,446` tonnes export cargo and 1,632 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 29,879 tonnes dry cargo including 22,616 tonnes general cargo; 2,747 tonnes rice; 4,516 tonnes cement and 36,149 tonnes oil/liquid cargo
Three ships namely Oel Esteem, Ghetty Bottiglleri and Mol Kauri sailed out to sea during the report period.
One vessel viz Apl Yokohama is currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Apl Yokohama, Y M Faha, Zayed, African Cobra and Iran Baabaei expected to sail on Wednesday, while two vessels viz Kota Gunawan and Cma Cgm Victoria are expected to sail on Thursday.
Four vessels viz Port Stanley, Iran Baabaei, Cma Cgm Victoria and Corinthiakos due to arrive on Wednesday, while seven ships namely Oriental Bouquet, Chemstar Brave, Sea Glory, Orient Independence, Pacific Arrow, Al-Wakra and Yaad-e-Mohammad are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 3,145 tonnes diesel oil; 6,014 tonnes edible oil; 13,845 tonnes coal; 3,459 tonnes wheat and 34,204 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely C.V. Sima Pride, C.V. Hyundai Stride, M.V. Shuja-III and M.T. Al-Salam-II sailed out to sea during the report period, last 24 hours.
Container vessel viz C.V. MSC Socotra is expected to sail on Wednesday.
A total of five ships carrying furnace oil, chemicals, Coke, iron ore and containers namely Msc Panama, Al-Mukhtarh, Cabanas, Captain George-L and Jo Oak are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely C.V. Msc Panama, M.T. Jo Oak and M.T. Al-Mukhtarh due to take berths at Container Terminal, Engro Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
Two vessels viz M.T. Regent and C.V. ACX Jasmine due to arrive on Wednesday, while three more ships namely C.V. Ibn Sina, M.T. Chemstar Brave and M.V. Storm Ranger are due to arrive on Thursday.
