The Government of Pakistan on Thursday executed exploration licence (EL) with government Holdings (Pvt) Limited (GHPL) and petroleum production Sharing Agreement with GHPL and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) over Block No 2266-8 (Offshore Indus-S), covering an area of 2129.91 Sq. Kms.
This block is located in the Arabian Sea and is situated 1 Ultra deep waters. OGDCL will invest an amount of US $1.5636 million during the first 2 years of the initial term of the license.-PR
