The Bank of Punjab has been adjudged 24th Corporate Excellence Award for Commercial Banking Sector by the Management Association of Pakistan being a 'Best Managed Banking Company.
The Corporate Excellence Awards are conferred by the Management Association of Pakistan, a premier body of professional managers and entrepreneurs, with an objective to recognise the listed companies which excel themselves in corporate management.
This award is considered the most prestigious accolade in the corporate sector, spokesman said. The quality of management practices of the companies in different areas like corporate governance, planning, marketing, personnel, production management, R&D and regard for social responsibilities are appraised by the Management Association of Pakistan.
The above award is not only recognition of the financial performance of the Bank of Punjab in the commercial banking sector, but also a tribute to the management practices adopted and initiated by the management of the bank, he added.
