Security cameras to be installed at Parliament House and Lodges

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has procured security cameras for the Parliament House and Parliament Lodges, which will be installed within six-week, CDA Acting Chairman Kamran Qureshi said here on Thursday.
The Authority has purchased some 16 security cameras while more will be procured as per security requirements, he was briefing the National Assembly Committee on House and Library. The committee met here under the chairmanship of Acting Speaker National Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqub to discuss security arrangements in Parliament House and Lodges.
The meeting was informed that the existing grill around the Parliament Lodges would be given further 2 feet and 6 inches height. Kamran told the committee that issuance of security cards to the employees working in the lodges and stickers to the cars of Members of National Assembly and Senators was in final stage.
