Veteran journalist laid to rest

Veteran journalist Salim Qureshi, who breathed his last on Wednesday night after protracted illness, was laid to rest here at Muslim Graveyard Phuleli on Thursday morning. Salim Qureshi was 82 years old. He was survived by a widow, five sons and four daughters. He served 50 years in the field of journalism.
He served as a journalist in different newspapers, including Pakistan Times and Business Recorder. His funeral was held at Muslim Graveyard Phuleli, and attended by journalists, friends, relatives and notables of Hyderabad.
Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Salahuddin Haider, Regional Director Sindh Information Hyderabad Dur Muhammad Kamal, President Hyderabad Press Club Shahid Shaikh, Secretary Jaffar Memon, Usman Ajmeri, Azizullah Malik, Ali Hassan, Raees Kamal and Javed Nisar Channa have expressed their grief on the demise of Salim Qureshi.
