Reconstruction top priority: AJK chief secretary

The newly appointed Chief Secretary of Azad Kashmir Major Javed Majeed (Retd) has said that the reconstruction of AJK cities destroyed in the October 2005 earthquake would be his first priority.
Talking to NNI here on Friday he said that before taking any step or decision the President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir would be taken into confidence and both would be consulted.
The chief secretary said that he is against the corruption and would not allow anyone to loot the public money. He said in the first priority he would construct schools, colleges, hospitals and other government infrastructures in Azad Kashmir. He also sought public help in pinpointing the corruption and corrupt officials so that action would be taken against them after thorough investigation.
