A 41-member delegation of Singapore Press Club on a good will tour of the country called on Governor of Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) here on Sunday. The delegation is led by journalist Narinder Agarwal.
Punjab governor talking to delegation briefed them about on-going development endeavour in the country. He said Pakistan was an ideal place to invest and cited example of Chinese businessmen who were increasingly attracted to the investment climate here.
He asked Singapore investors to avail this ideal investment scenario too. The delegation was further told by the governor of increased level of freedom of press and arrival of large number of electronic media channels in the country. The delegation thanked governor on the occasion and said that their visit to the country had been very learning.
