Punjab government provides funds for special education

Punjab government will establish institutes of special education at tehsil levels to uplift the status of special people. This was stated by provincial minister for special education Dr Tahir Ali Javed while addressing to the concluding session of two-day conference organised by Punjab University's DSE.
He said that Punjab government was striving hard to provide with special education for special people. "This is first time in the history of the country that government has provided a lot of funds in this regard," the minister said.
Appreciating the efforts of DSE for organising a successful conference and he hoped that the department would annually organise such conferences and government would provide all out help and co-operation.
