'Arrested PPP MPA be allowed to attend assembly session'

Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Punjab Information Secretary Farzana Raja addressing a press conference here Tuesday has asked the provincial administration to bring their party MPA Ashraf Khan Sona, who had been arrested recently, in the assembly session being held Wednesday (today).
She said the MPA who was arrested under Anti Terrorist Act clauses was innocent and not involved in any anti-sectarian activity alleged by the administration on him.
PPPP leader said provincial government was exerting pressure on the legislator to join ranks with the ruling party .She said Sona was a staunch worker of the PPPP and would not budge under any negative influence of the administration. A number of political activists of the party were present on the occasion.
