Special Communications Organisation (SCO) has signed an agreement with the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) for collection of telephone bills through Nadra kiosks and counters.
SCO Deputy Director General Brigadier Riaz Hussain Shah and Nadra Public Service Division's General Manager Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hameed Shah (retd) inked the agreement at the SCO headquarters here on Tuesday, says a press release.
The SCO subscribers are currently depositing telephone bills in different banks and post offices. In a bid to facilitate the subscribers and provide them alternate facility, agreement with Nadra for installation of kiosks/Nadra counters in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Northern Areas (NAs) has been signed.
After the agreement, they would now be able to make payment round-the-clock through Nadra kiosks, it said. Under the agreement, Nadra will set up kiosks in AJK and NAs. Presently eight counters at NSRCs located at Bagh, Bhimber, Kotli, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Sudhnoti and Authmuqam of AJK are being made operational. It had also been planned to deploy Nadra kiosks in Mirpur and Muzaffarabad, it said.-PR
