Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has finally approved the request of PCB Chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf to send the investigation officer and a diplomat to Jamaica to join the investigation process of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer's murder.
"One of our top investigation officer, a diplomat and PCB official will leave for Jamaica and the prime minister has finally approved that," Dr Nasim Ashraf told media men at Prime Minister Secretariat on Friday.
Dr Nasim Ashraf couple of days ago sent a written request to Foreign Office for sending a crime investigation officer and a diplomat to Jamaica, who would remain there till the conclusion of Bob Woolmer's murder case.
The PCB chairman also expressed his anger over the remarks of few former test cricketers that Pakistan cricket team was involved in match fixing. "It is not true, its baseless". He once again said that he would continue to work as PCB Chairman till the approval of his resignation by President Musharraf.
