Five MoUs signed at Expo Pakistan 2007

As many as five Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) were signed designed to exchange market information between countries on the 2nd day of Expo Pakistan 2007 here at the Karachi Expo Centre. Federal Minister for Commerce, Humayun Akhtar Khan supervised the signing of agreements.
The first MoU between the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) of United Arab Emirates was signed between Kashif Shabir, Senior Vice President of RCCI and Mahmoud Al Midfa of SCCI.
The two associations agreed upon an annual meeting to exchange market information, facilitate visits of delegates and to help strengthen the economic and industrial ties between the two countries.
The second MoU was signed between Ghausia International and Asia Tooti Fruiti Importers and Exporters (Iran). Shabir Ahmed, the representative of Ghausia International, Lahore and Murad Bux Baloch of Asia Tooti Fruiti Importers and Exporters from Iran were the signatories of the agreement, in which Ghausia International were appointed distributors of food products in the Iranian region.
The 3rd MoU was signed between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Moroccan Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). Tanveer Ahmed, President of FPCCI and the President of MCCI, Driss Hout signed the document in which the two chambers of commerce agreed to establish a joint business council for co-operation.
Another MoU was inked between Pakistan Television Network (PTV) and the Korean International Broadcasting Foundation (ARIRANG TV). The 5th agreement was signed between Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and German Asiatic Business Forum (German Asian Business Circle - International Health Marketing). Majyd Aziz and Wulf Preising were the signatories.
