Iraqi national held for collecting 'alms'

Gulberg Police have arrested an Iraqi national Mehdi Moodi Al-Saeed who was collecting financial assistance for the "Jihadi" organisations in Iraq in different mosques and religious seminaries here. "We have taken an Iraqi national in our custody for collecting "alms" for the purchase of arms and food for the people fighting in Iraq.
However, his entry into Pakistan was through legal travel documents", Mian Muhammad Akram, DSP Legal Faisalabad said. He was arrested from a mosque when he was collecting funds.
