Pakistani team to attend China mineral moot

A three-member delegation of technical experts from Pakistan will attend international conference on mineral exploration in China. Sources told Business Recorder on Monday.
Three technical experts comprising Muhammad Hassan Brohi, Assistant Director, Mines and Mineral Development Department, Sindh, Raja Muhammad Akhter Iqbal, official of Ministry of P&NR, Islamabad, and Farooq Ahmed Awan, Mineral Recourse, Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation would present Pakistan's potential in mineral exploration at the conference on 'Geological & Mineral Exploration' to be held in Beijing, China on April 11-25, 2007.
A number of delegates from 25 countries would present working paper at the conference and inform about their strategy to improve the mining sector. Pakistani delegation has prepared electronic presentations to inform the participants about available natural resources and its potential in the country. They would also invite entrepreneurs to invest in Pakistan as the country has adopted a liberal investment policy, sources said.
