BRIndex30 manages to end in green zone

The BRIndex30 on Wednesday opened with a jump gap of 37.03 points and remained in the green zone for most of the time, experiencing a little seesaw near the end of the trading time. It closed at 12,362.34, registering a positive change of 3.25 points and percentage change of 0.03.
The BRIndex30 recorded an intra-day high of 12,451.88 and low of 12,341.57. The volume amounted to 197,392,600 shares, which was 84.66 percent of market total and 96.6 percent of KSE-100 index. The volumes of KSE All Share and KSE-100 were 233,170,460 and 204,348,240, respectively.
BR Cement Index was the most active sector with a turnover of 84,110,200 shares. It closed at 1,489.77 with a net positive change of 31.24 or 2.14 percent. BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 5,073.62 with a net positive change of 6.4 or 0.13 percent. The turnover for this sector was 56,185,500 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,034.65 with a net negative change of -15.71 or -0.77 percent. The volume was 20,192,700 shares. BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,490.99 with a net downward change of -24.33 points, or -1.61 percent. The volume of this sector was 8,310,500 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,307.81 with an upward change of 10.32 or 0.80 percent. The turnover for this sector was 7,149,000 shares, which was the lowest among BR Indices.
