Pakistan and Ireland discuss education system

A delegation on Wednesday led by Michael Ahren, Minister for International Trade of Ireland called on Dr Hamida Khuhro, Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy and discussed on bringing reforms in education system in both the countries.
Both the ministers exchanged views about the progress of education system and steps being adopted for further improvement in various sectors of the respective countries. They also agreed that latest advancement would be provided to the students for studying in the both the countries. The delegation informed that Ireland would extensively assist in the field of education and hoped that Pakistan government would provide help and co-ordinate in this regard.
Dr Khuhro assured that the government would provide all facilities and welcome foreign investment from Ireland particularly in education sector. John Deady, Ambassador of Ireland for Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Michael Cantwell, Head of Digital Media, E-Learning and Education in Enterprise Ireland, Jim Mongey, Regional Manager Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, Enterprise Ireland, Ms Maria O'Rourke Senior Official Bilateral Trade Department Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Brain Dalton Secretary to Minister Ahren and Hasib Ahsan honorary Consul of Ireland, Pakistan were also present on the occasion.
