Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has arrested 30 Indian fishermen along with their six launches for illegally fishing inside Pakistani waters. Spokesman of MSA Lieutenant Commander Atiq-ur-Rehman said here on Friday that some of the arrested fishermen were also arrested earlier for illegal fishing and had spent couple of years in Pakistani jails.
He said a MSA ship "Nusrat" carried these fishermen who were apprehended by MSA surveillance authorities some 90 nautical miles from Karachi and 50 kilometres inside Pakistani waters. They will be handed over to Docks Police for legal action, he added.
