Reshman describes art gallery a vibrant note of frozen music

The world-known folk singer, Reshman, termed the new state of the art complex of National Art Gallery of Pakistan as the vibrant note of frozen music.
She said amicable co-existence of visual and performing art was a recognised and established phenomenon of creativity in all over the world in present time. She expressed these views while visiting the gallery here on Friday.
She said Pakistan was a land of rich cultural heritage, which reflects itself through all the seven arts created by the national genius of our society.
The folk stalwart was appreciative of the location of the art repository of Pakistan in the vicinity of the Parliament. She hoped that such coincidence would further lend vitality in co-relation between state organs and the realm of arts.
Reshman urged the cohesion among all the genres of art especially visual and performing arts as the state of inter-activity always proves helpful in nurturing the overall art and cultural fabric of the nation.
Despite her protracted ailment, she enthusiastically made a round of the gallery, which houses over 14 spacious display areas carrying over 2,000 art pieces representing a variety of genres, mediums, styles and content matter created by the eminent painters hailing from all the regions of the country.
The gallery is scheduled to be inaugurated in the near future by the President. The folk singer urged Naeem Tahir, chief executive and director general of Pakistan National Council of the Arts that a plan should be made to foster ambiance of interactivity in the country.
She offered her all out support towards this end and said that she would sing in honour of country's visual as well as performing artists and the art lovers of the capital city.
