The annual review mission of Asian Development Bank will visit Lahore from April 10 to 12 to review the 'Access to Justice' programme. The mission will be led by Muhammad Afzal Kahut, Programme Director, Programme Management Unit (PMU) of Access to Justice Programme (AJP), Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights.
According to a press release, Access to Justice programme was launched with the collaboration of Asian Development Bank in 2002. The programme aims at reforms in Justice sector.
During its visit the mission will meet heads of various departments and implementing agencies to take stock of the progress made in the programme so far. The ADB mission will also concentrate on how to remove bottlenecks in the way of the program so that its benefits could reach the poor and the vulnerable strata of the society.
