Egypt closes six ports

Egypt temporarily closed five Red Sea ports and one Mediterranean Sea port on Saturday because of bad weather, officials said. Another port official told Reuters the el-Saed port on the Mediterranean Sea was also closed because of a sandstorm.
The ports handle cargo, oil, passengers and fishing. A massive sandstorm on March 23 also disrupted traffic in the Suez Canal and forced three Red Sea ports to close.
