The Dag Hammarskjld Scholarship Fund for Journalists has announced accepting applications from young journalists for its 2007 Fellowship Programme till April 30.
According to a press note issued by the United Nations Information Center Islamabad here on Monday, the Fellowship Programme is open to professional radio, television and print journalists from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe who are interested to proceed New York to report on international affairs during the 62nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly which starts in September.
All four of the fellows selected will be young journalists, aged 25-35. The 10-week Fellowship will begin in early September, just before the General Assembly session begins, and includes travel, accommodations and per diem expenses.
