CDA asked not to outsource sanitation department

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would have 2,000 unemployed sanitary janitors on its hands unless the body rescinded the decision to outsource this department to an outside organisation. Senator Talha Mehmood in chair stated this to Senate Standing Committee on Interior Ministry, during a meeting of the committee held here at the Parliament House on Monday.
He also asked CDA organisation to take such initiatives as would benefit low paid employees. He assured the representatives of the union to resolve the matter judiciously.
