Katchi abadi residents get proprietary rights

As many as 67 families of katchi abadi of union council No 31 in PP-147, received proprietary rights and provincial Minister for Information Technology Abdul Aleem Khan delivered the documents of proprietary rights.
Abdul Aleem paid all the charges incurred on the preparation of documents from his own pocket and no citizen had to bear even a single penny in this regard.
The minister also visited the areas of Baja Line, Amir Street, Tanky 56 area and Railway Loco shop and distributed the proprietary rights deeds to the residents, prepared by the Lahore Development Authority. Aleem Khan said on the occasion that all the formalities have been completed and legal steps taken by the LDA and overall 250 families would be benefited. He promised that each family would receive proprietary rights papers at home.
He said that present government has fulfilled another promise and people have been gifted by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, as per his announcement made on February 18. He said that more localities would be included in the katchi abadi scheme and they would be provided proprietary rights, accordingly. He congratulated the residents who got documents irrespective of any political affiliation.
