Quetta-Zahedan, Mashhad bus service soon

Pakistan and Iran have agreed to commence regular bus service between Quetta-Zahedan-Mashhad route and more routes would be added later, says a message received from Tehran on Monday.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at First Joint Comprehensive Transport Meeting between the Ministry of Road and Transportation of Iran and Ministry of Communications of Pakistan. The Iranian delegation was headed by Mohammad Rahmati, Minister of Road and Transportation and the Pakistani delegation was led by Mohammad Shamim Siddiqui, Minister of Communications.
The heads of the two delegations reviewed the current status of bilateral transport relations in detail and agreed to establish four working committees in the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Transport Meeting.
During the meeting Road and Transport Experts of both the countries discussed the matters pertaining to international Road Transport Agreement and the Commencement of Passengers Transport services between the two countries and showed satisfaction over the progress made during these discussions. About bus service both sides agreed that private companies of both countries from passenger transport sector should meet within one month at Zahedan to finalise the procedure for the bus service.
