National interest top priority: Saifullah

Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Salim Saifullah said on Tuesday that national interest was the top priority of the government and it would remain in touch with all political parties for the betterment of the country.
Talking to PTV, he said the government had contacts with not only Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) but all the political parties, but no deal with any party was in the pipeline.
He said the development agenda of the government had nation-wide support and contacts of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) with the government manifested that President Pervez Musharraf's agenda was backed by the entire nation. Saifullah said PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto could come back to Pakistan at any time and there was no legal restriction on her.
He said the government was determined to work for the development and prosperity of the country and all the political parties should cooperate with the government.
