Sino-Pak joint ventures urged

Tanvir Ahmed Sheikh, President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has called for joint ventures between Pakistan and China with buy back arrangements so that Pakistan's exports could get a boost.
FPCCI president, who is accompanying Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on his official visit to China, was speaking at a seminar in Beijing on 'Pakistan-China Business Relations' organised by China Council for the promotion of international trade. According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, Tanvir said that joint ventures in engineering and agro-based industry would increase. The increase in agriculture production, which would not only help meet our local demand but also enable us to export surplus quantities to China.-PR
