HSBC and TCF to build quake-resistant houses in AJK

The HSBC has joined hands with The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and has taken on the construction of 14 earthquake-resistant houses in the Bandi Karim Haider Shah village at Muzaffarabad district, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for commencing this reconstruction project was signed on April 12 by HSBC Pakistan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tahir Sadiq and TCF CEO Lieutenant General S P Shahid (Retd).
The project, costing 100,000 dollars, also caters to the restoration of basic infrastructure ie roads and other basic services eg to build a waterway which would ensure running water to villagers and other amenities. The construction involves partnership with the local community to build homes.-PR
