Railways expands computerised ticketing facility

Pakistan Railways has included Narowal into its network of computerised ticketing and reservations systems. Pakistan Railways' utilising of the state-of-the-art fiber optics networking technology has added Narowal Reservation Office to its on-line computer network increasing it to 22 locations.
Stations that are already on the network are Nawabshah, Rohri, Kanewal, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Quetta, Hyderabad and Karachi.
Passengers can now plan and purchase their tickets from any of the above locations before departing from their originating station, along with the confirmed return tickets. With this facility, passengers can make their travel plans before leaving their originating station.
