Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and industry (FCCI) has reiterated to fully implement the schedule mutually worked out for staggering holidays in Faisalabad.
A meeting was held in Fesco headquarters here on Friday, which was also attended by the office bearers of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) and other trade bodies. The participants of the meeting submitted written and verbal suggestions to further improve the load management schedule.
Chief Executive Fesco, Ahmad Saeed Akhtar said that a schedule of staggering holidays was chalked out in consultation with local industrial units. However, Fesco was facing some problems in its implementation.
He said that Fesco would not disconnect power supply from grid on the assurance of concerned industrial units that they would voluntarily observe the staggering holiday. The participants of the meeting assured that they would not only implement the schedule of staggering holiday but also ensure its implementation by the other members of their concerned organisations. Ahmad Saeed Akhtar CE, Fesco said that a proposal was also under consideration to close the commercial centres after Maghrib.
