Prime Minister's visit to China termed big success

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz's recent visit of China would have far reaching impact on trade and economy related activities in the region besides boosting mutual cordial relations between the two countries, said Murtaza Hashwani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hashoo Group here.
In a statement, he termed the Prime Minister's visit as a big success considering the importance of agreements signed between the two friendly countries both in term of economic impacts and strategic interests in the region. The CEO of Hashoo Group added that the Prime Minister has rightly pointed out that the people of Pakistan draw strength from and rejoice over the great accomplishments of the Chinese nation.
These accomplishments attest to the genius, wisdom, skills and talent of the Chinese people and their sagacious leadership. He said that Prime Minister mentioned that Gwadar port completed with the assistance of China and called it as the future business hub of the region and backbone for Pakistan's economy.
Murtaza Hashwani said that Pakistan acknowledges the contribution made by Chinese corporations to the economic development of Pakistan. He said around 100 Chinese corporations and more than 3,000 engineers, technicians and entrepreneurs were working on a range of projects from minerals and manufacturing to IT as well as telecommunication.
He added that friendship between Pakistan and China will gain strength through mutual cooperation especially in the economic field. He said Pakistan needs to focus on developing joint ventures, investments and trade.
Murtaza Hashwani said that his group was engaged in discussing some areas on mutual interests in tourism industry and has signed some important MoUs in this regard with Chinese private sector, which would result a big boost for tourism industry in the region.
