Contracts were higher on the forward cottonseeds oilcake market on Thursday as buyers did some business to meet their needs, dealers said. The May vaida was unchanged at Rs 645.50 and that proved to be day's lowest at the same rate.
In process of trading it gained Rs 4.00 to be day's best at Rs 649.50 and market settled at the same level, they said. The next July vaida started with no change in its overnight level at Rs 668.00, this proved to be day's bottom at the same level. In process of trading it picked up Rs 2.00 to be day's highest at Rs 670.00 and market settled at the same rate, they added.
