The profit after tax of the Millat Tractors Limited has declined to Rs 173.244 million translating an earning per share of Rs 9.24 in the quarter ended on March 31, 2007 as compared to PAT of Rs 231.654 million and an EPS of Rs 12.36 in the corresponding period in 2006.
In a notice sent to the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) it was said that the company's net sales increased to Rs 3,133.651 million in the period under review against Rs 2,624.864 million in the same period last year. The company's cost of the sales surged to Rs 2,844.644 million in this period against Rs 2,324.578 million in three months last year. The company's profit before tax stood at Rs 227.410 million in this quarter against Rs 311.096 million in the same period previous year.
