Provincial metropolis witnessed the hottest day of the on-going summer session on Saturday, where the mercury touched 43 degrees Celsius. According to a meteorological official, the hot weather was caused by warm and dry continental air that prevails over the region.
The minimum temperature was 19 degrees Celsius while humidity in morning was 24 percent and in the evening it was just 4 percent. For the next 24 hours, even hotter and dry weather has been predicted with chances of dust-raising winds in the vicinity of Lahore.
