Musharraf enquires after health of Sherpao on telephone

President General Pervez Musharraf, who is now in Turkey on the last leg of his four-nation visit, on Saturday night enquired about the health of Interior Minister Aftab Sherpao on telephone.
President Musharraf said the government would continue its resolve to fight against terrorism. The incidents like suicide attack on public rally in Charsadda, would not have any effect on the war against terror, he added. The President, talking to Aftab Sherpao on telephone, enquired about his health after the suicide attack on the public rally in Charsadda, in which 28 people were killed and scores of others injured.
Condemning this act of terrorism, he said Pakistan will continue to play its key role in the war against terrorism. The President said such cowardly acts of terrorism could not shatter the determination and commitment of Pakistan in the war against terror.
He further said the government will not change or alter its strategy to fight the menace of terrorism and would continue its mission to ensure peace and security in the region and the world.
Reiterating government's commitment to arrest the culprits behind this incident, President Musharraf said the government would continue its mission till the end of the terrorism.
