Punjab Minister for Zakat and Ushr Khadim Hussain Wattoo has said that 8 District Zakat Offices have disbursed Rs 1.33 million among Mustahqeen in the month of March, this year.
He told this in a meeting held in his office. He said that Nankana district, out of its 1.5 million Zakat Fund disbursed Rs 705,000 for social rehabilitation and Rs 780,000 for marriage grant, Hafizabad with Rs 0.5 million disbursed Rs 60,000 for guzara allowance, Rs 410,625 for healthcare and Rs 30,000 for marriage assistance, Rawalpindi out of Rs 47 million spent Rs 27,244,500 for guzara allowance, Rs 4,500 for educational stipend.
Rs 1,656,450 for stipend to the students of the Deeni Madaris, Rs 606,060 for healthcare, Rs 280,000 for social rehabilitation, Rs 16,776,100 for educational technical stipend.
Rs 590,000 for marriage assistance and Rs 285,000 for Leprosy patients, Attock disbursed Rs 10,368,000 for guzara allowance, Rs 4,263,694 for educational stipend, Rs 587650 for health care, Rs 5000 for social welfare and Rs 4143,800 for technical stipend out of its total Rs 19 million gram, Sargodha out of Rs 8 million disbursed Rs 5319642 for educational stipend.
Rs 2965685 for Deeni Madaris, Mianwali out of Rs 11 million disbursed Rs 30,000 for guzara allowance, Rs 240,975 for Deeni Madaris and Rs 10866678 for technical stipend.
Bhakkar with 12 million disbursed Rs 8750,000 for guzara allowance, Rs 873,820 for healthcare, Rs 583,000 for social welfare, Rs 600,000 for marriage assistance and Rs 1166,400 for Deeni Madaris and Faisalabad district out of its 33 million Zakat Fund disbursed Rs 1135,000 for social rehabilitation, Rs 2070,000 for marriage grant, Rs 11,102,136 for educational stipend and Rs 18,342,400 for educational technical stipend.
