Ufone, in a bid to facilitate its customers, has added Cable & Wireless Isle of Man to its list of GSM and GPRS roaming partners. This was stated in a Ufone press release issued recently.
With this move the number of Ufone's GSM roaming partners has increased to 192 and destinations to 117 whereas the number of GPRS roaming partners has soared to 78 and destinations to 58.
Ufone was the first operator in Pakistan to offer GPRS international roaming providing its customers the convenience to be connected with the rest of the world via GPRS leading to features like U-mail etc.
GPRS roaming is now available in Australia, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, USA, France, UAE, Malaysia, Ukraine, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark Finland, Italy, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, West Indies, Georgia, Iceland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Norway, etc and will soon be offered in other countries as well keeping in view customers needs and requirements.
Ufone is providing International Roaming service at the most competitive rates in the market to its customers through 192 operators in 117 countries.
Roaming facility is being provided to Ufone post-paid customers across the globe including United States, Africa, Middle East, Far East, South and Central Asia and Asia Pacific.
Besides post-paid subscribers, Ufone prepay customers can also avail international roaming facility in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Singapore, UK & Kuwait. Ufone was the first to launch the next generation 2. SG services in Pakistan providing users services like GPRS, WAP, MMS, GPRS international roaming. Ufone subscribers can also send International SMS to more than 550 operators world-wide at the cheapest rates.
Pursuing its aggressive expansion policy within the county and abroad, Ufone is striving to facilitate its consumers in every possible way. It would be pertinent to mention here that the Ufone has recently added 33 new cities to its existing national network.
