Irri prices marginally up on grain market

Lean business was seen on the grain market on Monday as leading buyers were conspicuous by their absence, dealers said. Upward trend prevailed on the rice sector as Irri-6 Sindh was higher by Rs 5 to Rs 1450-1475 in process of active trading. Irri-white low type picked up Rs 15 to Rs 1260 and better type was higher by Rs 20 to Rs 1270, they said.
On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 480 and fine quality lost Rs 10 to Rs 630, while cereals and grain sectors did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
