The border between Pakistan and China is being opened on Tuesday, (May 1, 2007). This was stated by the officials of Northern Areas administration in Gilgit on Monday. Customs and other relevant departments' staff have arrived at Sost check post to facilitate traders of both the countries.
Pak-China border is generally closed on 31st December and opened on 1st of May every year under border trade protocol agreement signed between the two countries in 1985.
