The government has decided to submit an application for formation of full bench instead of 5-member larger bench on Wednesday, Aaj TV exclusively reported here.
Earlier, acting Chief Justice Rana Bhagwandas had constituted a larger bench of the Supreme Court to hear petitions of Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and other legal bodies who have challenged validity and vires of filing of presidential reference against the CJ in the Supreme Judicial Council.
The 5-member bench headed by Justice M Javed Buttar comprises Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmad, Justice Chaudhry Ejaz Ahmad and Justice Hamid Ali Mirza.
